Thanks to all who visited Real Image Solution’s exhibit at the ASCE FL Section conference last Friday. And a special thank you to ASCE FL Section for putting on a great show, great attendees and great experience.

Approximately 250 students, interns, PE’s and Principals, as well as over 20 exhibitors, were in attendance.  Of those exhibitors, Real Image Solutions was the only exhibitor who offered visualization solutions and service.

The Orlando World Center Marriott.  Set-up opened at 7:30am, and even though traffic wasn’t too bad, parking and signage were a problem.

The Conference:

By 7:45 we were open for business and engaged in conversations with attendees leaving the breakfast area and heading to their breakout sessions.

Officially Exhibitors’ Schedule:

10:00am – 10:30am – morning refreshment break sponsored by HTNB

3:00pm – 3:30 pm – afternoon refreshment break sponsored by Rinker Pipe

5:30pm – 7:30 pm – cocktail reception sponsored by the Asphalt Contractors Association of Florida.

That said, traffic was both steady and busy throughout the day, regardless of the schedule, with only two slow times that lasted no longer than 30 minutes.

The response to RDV Systems’ 123BIM was extremely positive, with dozens of engineers who watched the demo and stayed to ask a variety of basic and technical questions. The booth worked out well and it drew a lot of interest, despite its location out of the main exhibitor area. Our location had something of a venturi effect by drawing people in as the area narrowed on entry/exit to/from the main exhibitor area. The energy bars helped too!

As a result of exhibiting at this conference, Real Image Solutions has an opportunity to present 123BIM to local ASCE chapters, as well as Florida Engineering Society chapters during lunch and learn sessions.

This was definitely a success by way of getting 123BIM in front of engineering personnel of all levels. Additionally, this provided an environment to deliver multiple demonstrations of 123BIM that helped build confidence in presentation skills and knowledge.

For Real Image Solutions, this was a fire drill event that hopefully will lead to a fire drill deal!

Without consultation, plans are frustrated, but with many counselors they succeed.
